Alfonso's Story

I grew up in Italy where I was obsessed with my health. From the age of 17 until a few years ago, I was a slave to always having to stay in perfect shape. In fact, in my early 20’s I became a serious body builder. I won many trophies including the Italian Body Building Championship. Although it was fun, I was always suffering from stress and guilt caused by my strict diet. My mind was forever in turmoil. As soon as my will power weakened, I’d get lax about my diet and gain back those extra pounds. After coming to the United States, living in Hollywood made me feel completely inadequate and increased my already low self esteem. I was always trying the latest diet since I was obsessed with having a healthy, perfect body. If fact, I tried them all, from eating tasteless chicken and eggs – to periods of eating only rice, etc. At times I was exhausted; my mind was obsessed with food and exercise, which actually drained me of all physical and mental energy. Even though I was a body builder, I still had the same tension and stress associated with strict dieting. Along with low self-esteem, I felt like a failure as I would go from one extreme to the other.


What I didn’t know was that my thoughts were the reason I was not able to maintain my ideal weight. So after many years of bodybuilding I decided to get into ‘mind building’; studying everything I could having to do with mind and spirit: taking courses, reading hundreds of books, and traveling all over
Asia seeking the best teachers who could help me. It was then that I began to gain some insight about this issue which was ruling my life and preventing me from using my energy to fulfill my highest potential.

Now I eat my favorite foods any time I want and, most important; I really enjoy them! I no longer fear what to eat or judge myself harshly around food. My mind is now free and I have the energy to focus on what is really important in my life.

It is my intention to help you achieve an inner balance that will cause you to have a slim and healthy body, effortlessly. It’s not about keeping to a strict diet and resisting cravings, or having strong willpower. It’s about a new awareness, a new perspective, it’s about letting go. It’s about being and feeling fully ALIVE!
                                          

DESPITE COUNTLESS DIETS, EXERCISE PROGRAMS & EVEN SURGERIES, THE FACT IS:

  •  20% of British people are obese and 3 out of 4 are overweight

WHAT IS THE ANSWER?
According to the traditional way of thinking you have to eat fewer carbohydrates, exercise as much as possible and more than likely take a pill to speed up your metabolism, otherwise you will gain weight.

Come out of this nonsense way of thinking! Come out of the diet spell!  Food is not your enemy!
My grandmother and yours never dieted in their lives yet they didn’t have access to ‘fat free’ or   special diet food.  In fact, there were virtually no cases of obesity reported, relatively speaking, at the beginning of the last century.  At that time, people ate food not with fear, but with joy and enormous pleasure.

 

THE BOTTOM LINE
After personally working with hundreds of men and women of all ages and traveling around the world observing eating habits from different cultures, I can tell you that losing weight is an inside job. That's right, your body is your basic source of truth. There are always emotional causes for the things that show up in our body.  For example, when a child has eczema, it is often because they have undergone high levels of stress or trauma where they felt threatened so the body speaks up via a skin reaction. Our bodies are always communicating to us and our body doesn't lie. Fat is also a message from the body and there is an emotional reason behind it!

In order to lose weight, you have to look inside for a Spiritual, Mental and Emotional solution.  That is where the root cause is and that is how you will create lasting change in your body as well as your overall mental, emotional and physical health!  Emotional pollution is as toxic as environmental pollution.

Stop accepting what they tell you: 
It’s in your genes! 
It’s because of menopause!
You have a slow metabolism!

THERE IS A LASTING SOLUTION!
All you have to do is think differently and erase from your mind all the concepts that created the fear of food so many years ago and learn how to let go of your need to protect yourself emotionally.You need to learn how to love and trust yourself totally through your body; let go of all forms of suppression and restriction and be in balance with your body’s natural rhythm in the most beautiful and spontaneous way. As you change or eliminate the root cause from the inside, you will naturally release the extra weight your body doesn’t need... this time forever!

They say that the number one fear in America is the fear of public speaking. If that’s true, I feel a close second is the fear of gaining weight! Some people are actually thin but they live as if they were fat because of the FEAR that sooner or later they will gain weight, so they live a life of restriction and deprivation. This is because in this society we don't have good role models who demonstrate that being healthy and slim is natural and in fact, our birthright.  Animals in their natural environment never gain weight because they live in balance according to nature and therefore never overeat.
